Investigating 3d shapes
1st Dec 2025
In these photos, the pupils are exploring 3D shapes by building models using spaghetti sticks, matches and small balls of playdough. The playdough acts as the vertices while the spaghetti forms the edges, helping the learners understand how shapes are constructed. They created cubes, pyramids and prisms, allowing them to see the difference between various 3D structures. This hands-on activity supports their understanding of edges, faces and vertices while making learning fun and interactive.
