On Tuesday 8th November, children from P3 and P4 in Newbuildings PS and St Columba’s PS took part in a litter design competition! We designed our own posters to show everyone in our wonderful village how we can look after it better and make it litter free! We watched a short story called, ‘A Whale’s Tale’ which showed us the impact of too much litter in our rivers and oceans, followed by an informative video on plastic pollution. Then we brainstormed ideas on how we can keep Newbuildings tidy and make it the best village it can be! Have a look at our amazing posters, aren’t they eye catching! Well done everyone!
