Primary 5 weredelighted that Mr George McLaughlin accepted Mrs Crawford's invitation to come and speak to the class about Prehen house. Mr McLaughlin has a lot of personal knowledge of the house, as well as the stories of those families who have lived in it down through the years. We all enjoyed looking at the many pictures and photos and hearing about our local area. The story of Half-Hanged McNaughton was of course an interesting one! We also learned about the castle in Newbuildings and how it was partially built on the site where Newbuildings P.S now stands.
