In RE we learned that the Bible was written a very long time ago, over about 1,500 years, by many different people. It isn’t just one book, but a big collection of stories, poems, laws, and letters. Some of the writers were leaders, prophets, or followers of Jesus, like Moses, David, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Paul. This helped us understand that the Bible is important to Christians because it teaches them how to live and believe.
