Recently, Primary 6 enjoyed the Y.E.S Project (Youth Educated in Safety) at Shantallow Community Centre. The children developed their awareness and understanding of how to keep safe at home and within the community. The training workshops were provided by professional teams and local authorities; The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, The Neighbourhood Policing Team (PSNI), Dog Trust, Translink - Bus Safety, Home Accident Prevention, Firework Safety and Anti-Bullying. A superb day for all the children!
